Here We Are, Much Later

I'm not even sure where to start.
What has happened since that last post, back in what? 2013? Wow!
I am not a dedicated blogger. That much has been established.

The really good news is that my husband and I have been getting along famously ever since he found work again.

The bad news is....well, how do I put this? I have lost my faith-in God anyway, and most of humanity.
But just when I think the world is nothing but evil, along comes some young person (or a group of them) and they are doing amazing things to help their fellow man. How do you respond to that with cynicism? I can't.

No-it does not make me think there is a God. It makes me think that when I say "We're on our own here", there are young people of faith( and no faith) who already understand that at some level. They are not waiting around for a miracle-they are making miracles themselves.

One such group is in the Gaza Strip, trying to provide direct aid to some of the poorest families there. They are using "indiegogo", a crowd-funding site, to raise the money they need. Please check out the following link and do what you can to help! Even if you cannot donate money at this time, you can surely share this on your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
I thank you in advance. Pay it forward....
